Article Retraction & Withdrawal

FAM follows ethical standards consistent with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  1. Article Withdrawal (Before Publication)

Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before it is formally published, provided that:

  • The request is submitted in writing,
  • Clear justification is provided,
  • The manuscript is not under final production.

Withdrawal due to unethical reasons (e.g., submission to another journal simultaneously) may result in submission restrictions.

  1. Article Retraction (After Publication)

An article may be retracted if:

  • There is evidence of plagiarism or data fabrication,
  • Significant methodological error invalidates findings,
  • Ethical violations are identified,
  • Duplicate publication is confirmed.

Retraction notices will be clearly published and linked to the original article to maintain academic transparency.
