Article Retraction & Withdrawal
FAM follows ethical standards consistent with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- Article Withdrawal (Before Publication)
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before it is formally published, provided that:
- The request is submitted in writing,
- Clear justification is provided,
- The manuscript is not under final production.
Withdrawal due to unethical reasons (e.g., submission to another journal simultaneously) may result in submission restrictions.
- Article Retraction (After Publication)
An article may be retracted if:
- There is evidence of plagiarism or data fabrication,
- Significant methodological error invalidates findings,
- Ethical violations are identified,
- Duplicate publication is confirmed.
Retraction notices will be clearly published and linked to the original article to maintain academic transparency.
